🎣PyroFishing

Basic Commands

/fish menu - Opens the PyroFishing GUI/menu

/fish shop - Allows you to sell fish for money

/fish scale - Gives you a chance to improve a fish’s sell price. It is possible for the fish to be destroyed in the process. The higher the risk, the higher the reward!

/fish entropy - Entropy is currency used by this plugin. Using this command allows you to see how much you have.

/fish gut - Rewards you with entropy, but destroys the fish in the process.

How to Start

Simple enough, you just fish. Use any fishing rod you’d like and start fishing. The more you fish the more you’ll level up, and with each level you get more and more entropy. (Entropy is the plugin’s currency)

Economy Overview

In the PyroFishing system, there are two distinct currencies at play: one influences your server's monetary balance, while the other is referred to as entropy. Entropy, the unique currency within the PyroFishing system, plays a crucial role in crafting augments (custom enchants), removing all augments from a fishing rod, upgrading delivery capabilities, upgrading skills, and upgrading your totem skills.

Generating income through PyroFishing involves various methods, such as:

  • The act of fishing itself.

  • Selling custom fish to the /fish shop for monetary gain.

  • Completing deliveries -> All deliveries offer an entropy reward in addition to other incentives.

-> Before selling your custom fish to the fish shop, you have the option to weigh them using /fish scales to potentially enhance their value. However, this also comes with the risk of decreasing their overall sale value. Custom fish can also be traded through alternative means, such as the auction house or chest shops.

  • Gutting your fish in /fish gut -> Consumes the fish but also yields entropy.

Improving entropy earnings is possible through:

  • Fish Skills upgrades, augments on your fishing rod (Hot Spot, Call of the Storm, Precision Cutting, and Perception)

  • The redemption of fishing boosters /fish boosters (earned from completing certain deliveries).

  • Fishing in close proximity to other players engaged in the activity grants extra entropy.

An entropy crystal is a specific item representing 10,000 entropy, which can be withdrawn in increments through the [/fish augment] menu or obtained via deliveries or trading with other players. Redeeming an entropy crystal consumes the item and boosts your entropy balance by 10,000. Custom Fish Overview In this plugin, you can fish up many different custom fish! There are currently 6 different tiers of fish, all of which have varying prices and entropy values.

Catching custom fish contributes to the progression of your fishing level, which operates independently of your McMMO fishing level. You can assess your fishing level by utilizing the command /fish stats. Fishing levels influence various aspects, including your ability to craft augments (custom rod enchants), construct and enhance a fishing totem, and they determine the extent to which you can elevate your fishing skills.

Deliveries and Fish Bag

For each 180 custom fish you end up catching, you get a delivery. A delivery is just like a quest, all you have to do is turn in the specified fish. Once complete you will get various rewards, ranging from entropy crystals (10,000 entropy), to special lures such as: crab lures, platinum lures and mythical lures.

Custom Items From Delivery Rewards

  • Crab Lure - 200% increased chance to spawn a crab

  • Platinum Lure - 250% increased chance to catch a platinum fish

  • Mythical Lure - 250% increased chance to catch a mythical fish

  • Entropy Booster - boosts entropy gained from fishing for 30 minutes

Entropy Crystal - worth 10,000 entropy when redeemed by right-clicking them in your hand.

Generally speaking, it's highly advised that you keep all of your fish stored away so as to be able to use them for deliveries, which can net you these great rewards! Platinum and Mythical-tier fish are specifically vital towards upgrading your totem's passive perk slots.

Delivery Upgrades Enhancements to your delivery capabilities and capacity are found at the bottom of the deliveries menu. The cost of entropy rises with each subsequent level.

Levelling Overview With each level you gain, you earn a Skill Point that can be invested to enhance various aspects of your fishing journey. Skill Points can be allocated to two categories of skills: upgradable and one-time. Upgradable skills involve continuous levelling with an increasing Skill Point investment, but they exhibit diminishing returns as their levels rise. On the other hand, one-time skill purchases require a fixed number of Skill Points for a single upgrade, with improvements occurring passively based on your PyroFishing level. For a fee of 50,000 entropy, you have the option to reset all your skill points and reallocate them as desired.

Augments Overview

Augments are custom enchantments for your fishing rod. To view all available augments, type /fish augments. To craft an augment, you must have entropy, high enough fishing level, and ingredients. All of this can be found by hovering your mouse over the desired Augment you want to craft in the /fish augments menu.

With all the ingredients, toss the exact amounts of each ingredient needed into a cauldron. Then left click it with your fishing rod. If done correctly you will obtain the augment. Alternatively, you can also obtain augments from other players and/or our PyroFishing Crate (located at /crates).

The recommended path for upgrading your fishing rod is as follows:

  1. Hotspot XIII

  2. Call Of The Storm V

  3. Biome Disruption III

  4. Crab Bait V

  5. Sage X

  6. Perception VII

  7. Precision Cutting VIII

  8. Saturate III / Intellect X / Solar Rage V / Trophy VI -> (complete these in any order)

  9. Master Fisherman XX

Tournaments Overview

Periodically, PyroFishing tournaments take place, lasting for a duration of 10 minutes and featuring four distinct types. Rewards are granted to the top three players based on their rankings, while all participants receive a modest bonus of entropy. To join a tournament, you simply need to catch a fish that meets the specific criteria. For instance, in tournaments like "Most Fish" and "Length," capturing a single custom fish qualifies you for participation. However, for the Platinum fish tournament, you must catch at least one Platinum-tier fish during the event to be considered entered. The quality of your fishing rod, enhanced with both vanilla enchantments and custom augments, determines the advantage you enjoy in tournaments. Tournament Types Length: Catch the longest or shortest fish. Fish lengths vary randomly and only matter during this tournament.

Most Fish: Catch the greatest number of custom fish within the tournament time frame.

Most Crabs: Catch and kill the greatest number of crabs (silverfish mobs) within the tournament time frame.

Lucky Catch: Be the first to catch a Platinum-Tier fish. Quantity doesn’t matter.

Random Catch: Be the first to catch a specifically named custom fish. Quantity doesn’t matter. Totems Overview A fishing totem is a constructed structure designed to provide supplementary passive benefits during specific time frames while fishing. To activate totems, a minimum PyroFishing level of 20 is necessary, making them an intended feature for late-game progression.

To initiate the activation process, simply right-click the lower observer of the totem with a fishing rod, ensuring the specified items are present in your inventory:

  • 16x Crab Scale

  • 16x Crab Claw

  • 16x Dolphin Tail

  • 16x Squid Tentacle

  • 6x any Platinum-tier fish

Totem Upgrades

You can enhance the totem with three distinct upgrades, each incurring an incremental cost of entropy. The upgrade cost, measured in entropy, is determined by multiplying a predetermined additional cost by the upgrade level and adding it to the base cost.

Passive Perks

To activate a totem's passive perks, you must have available passive slots, with a maximum of 15 slots when fully upgraded. Opening a new passive slot necessitates either 1x Mythical-tier fish or 3x Platinum-tier fish per slot. For instance, unlocking the 15th passive slot would require either 15 Mythical-tier fish or 45x Platinum-tier fish. It's important to note that mixing Platinum and Mythical fish is not allowed to meet the requirements; all the fish used for upgrading at each level must be of the same tier.

Totem passives differ from upgrades as they don't incur entropy costs; instead, they require minimum PyroFishing levels and available passive slots. These passives complement other aspects of PyroFishing, taking effect whenever the totem is active and having no impact during cooldown periods.
